There’s plenty of info to be garnered at wedding fairs, but if you’re the kind of bride who practically gags when they get around too much tulle and tradition, you’re probably not going to dig that scene at some of Vancouver’s more well known events. Don’t despair, though, you can still get ideas (and have fun with your bridesmaids) at Indie I Do, an alternative wedding show at Heritage Hall taking place January 23rd.
Now in its second year, Indie I Do features exhibitors that are local, inventive and unusual for the bride who wants something more unique (or more personal). More than 30 vendors will be on hand, including event-organizers Blue Olive Photography, Screaming Chicken Burlesque, and stationery providers Something Green Weddings (their 8 Bit invitations are too cool to miss). And if you register early enough (as in right now) you might snag one of the reusable swag bags being offered up.
You can get more information about Indie I Do on the Indie I Do site and order tickets through Paypal here. See you there!
