When I was planning my wedding I came *this* close to wearing a Leanne Marshall dress. Ultimately, however, I got scared about buying a dress I’d never seen in person or had the chance to try on (at that point Leanne’s gowns were only on Etsy), so I went with a Romona Keveza I found at Blush instead. But, now that Frocks Modern Bridesmaids is carrying Leanne Marshall designs in their shop, I’m tempted to go try some on and wonder about what could have been.

In case you don’t know, Leanne Marshall is a fashion designer from Portland who hit it big by winning Project Runway, and now she makes amazing bridal gowns that are incredibly creative. She makes her wedding dresses by hand and many of them are one of a kind, with intricate detailing and fresh spins on wedding dress staples like ruffles and lace. Basically, they’re gorgeous, and they’re now available in town.

Make an appointment at Frocks soon though, there’s a good chance Marshall’s pieces are going to go quickly (maybe I’ll even find an excuse to buy one).
