We recently saw some of the most unique wedding favors and were thrilled to find out that they came from a company (or, more specifically, a farm) right here in British Columbia. Pictured above, the favors are ripe red apples that feature custom images, little graphics (like hearts) and/or text.
The company making them is Alain’s Apple Greetings (with apples from their own Old Tower Farm) and while they’re already popular for businesses and holidays, you won’t find them at tons of weddings—unlike candy buffets and etched glasses. Don’t worry about fine print like “for decorative purposes only” either. The certified organic apples from Keremeos get their fun features by blocking out sunlight for designs, not by being sprayed with questionable chemicals or paints. So guests can follow doctors’ orders and eat their apple for the day.
