Although the Amsale name is associated more often with bridesmaid dresses than wedding gowns, the line actually includes plenty of pretty options for the bride herself. The spring 2013 collection contains so many great gowns, in fact, that we were seriously stumped trying to settle on just one hit (this gown, this gown and this gown were right there in the running with our final choice).
But, in the end, we forced ourselves to pick just one, and this was it. We love it for everything it can be: Demure, sexy, sophisticated, romantic. This is a dress that knows no boundaries, and it’s a risk taker too (which we’re always excited to see). It was look equally at home on a young fashion fanatic and on an older bride at a second wedding (since it doesn’t scream “wedding dress” like a ballgown does).
Our miss offers some similar features, but where the hit is soft and modern, this gown look stiff and has just a touch of embroidered pillow going on. We’ll take the models gorgeous red hair and poppy red lipstick, but pass on this awkward and unflattering dress.
