Top 5 Toasting Flutes

toasting flutes

It’s fun to raise a glass with your nearest and dearest to celebrate your brand new union, and even more fun to do that with a champagne flute that’s out of the ordinary. So, today we’ve tracked down our five favorite champagne flutes for your wedding toast. Some are traditional, some are not. The thing they all have in common is that they’re great to have as time goes on and you have more moments together celebrate as husband and wife. And far more likely to be used than your cake cutter.

Lovely Links For December 7th

We can’t help feel sympathetic to all the brides-to-be who are currently planning weddings while managing the busyness of the holidays. It’s hard enough figuring out a wedding when you aren’t making time for Christmas parties, shopping, family time and tradition.

That’s why we’d like to encourage you, if it’s at all possible, to ease up on designing your dream day until the all this extra activity has passed. For some brides it’s not possible (we’re looking at you, ladies who will tie the knot before January 2nd) and to those brides we say: There’s always next year. But, for all your spring brides, let this stuff simmer on the back burner, and enjoy a breather that has nothing to do with nuptials.

Regardless of your own situation, how about taking a break with this week’s lovely links?

+ An unexpected accessory for bridesmaids

+ Further proof we’re a city full of sports fans

+ Pantone has picked the 2013 color of the year!

+ There’s a great (12 day!) giveaway on the Epic Events blog right now

Lovely Links For November 9th

One of the great things about planning a wedding is that you get to spend a lot of your time day dreaming, and that’s an especially enviable element when it’s November and the weather is what it’s been lately (yuck!). We’ve been alternating between fantasizing about all the fun stuff of summer wedding and conjuring up mental images of the perfect cozy winter weddings. It’s almost kept us from noticing the gray ugliness going on outside…almost. Hope you’re having a similar experience as you work on your own weddings!

To help you further escape the dreariness, here are this week’s lovely links:

+ There is something so dreamy about this engagement shoot

+ For realistic over-the-top inspiration

+ The most creative take on “something blue” we’ve seen
